ATOP's Silver Anniversary
soon in the land of Dreamweavers
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ is the second largest island in the Philippine archipelago. It is also a home of a beautiful tapestry of multi-cultural communities with amiably stunning beaches and landscape areas including the remarkable cascading waterfalls and the ethereal backdrop of serene lakes and pink lotus gardens in South Cotabato. As one would expect, the Province of South Cotabato is nicknamed the โ๐ณ๐๐๐
๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โ due to its association with its Indigenous Peopleโs intricate weaving traditions that have deep spiritual and cultural significance.
Last March 6-8, 2024, the ๐ก๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ง๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐บ ๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ held its 1st Quarter Meeting in City of Koronadal โ the sole city in South Cotabato with prime agenda on the preparations for the hosting of the province of this yearโs ATOP National Convention. ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐ท ๐ต๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ท๐๐๐๐๐
๐๐๐ ๐ฑ๐๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐ ๐ซ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ manifested the deep appreciation of the National Board for the generosity and hospitality of the host province. Divinagracia expressed the full commitment of the entire ATOP family to whatever partnerships this hosting of South Cotabato will spawn in effecting a more meaningful National Convention especially that 2024 is the silver anniversary of ATOPโs longevity and strength as an Association.
Hosting this 2024 ATOP National Convention come October, the Province of South Cotabato is apparently expected to escalate the universal comprehension about the important of both the tourism and cultural affairs development agenda in the course of attaining sustainable progress. This is well anticipated to give birth to a constellation of responsibilities that are fused in the task of the province as a representative of the peace and friendship that Mindanao offers and what its people continue to work for. This yearโs ATOP National Convention would be another salient testament that will showcase not only the diversity of our cultural heritages and our extra-ordinary landscapes but also the wide expanse and coverage that this event will tell to the world that indeed South Cotabato is definitely one place to go.
During the fellowship dinner hosted by LGU- South Cotabato Tourism Officer Elric Batilaran took his oath as the newly appointed Secretary General of ATOP. Tourism Operations Officer Francis Cerbo, Jr. also took his oath as the new Regional Representative of SOX.
